Job Description
The stockroom associate is responsible for effectively and accurately handling the day-to-day parts inventory control and disbursement that serves both manufacturing and support departments. This position is also responsible for daily cycle counts and overall part accuracy. This is a mid shift position: 10:30am - 7 pm
Responsibilities:
Timely and efficiently process and fill parts requisitions for machine kits and field service.
Maintain an orderly and safe stockroom environment
Transact parts as required for inventory control and SOX compliancy
Provide excellent customer service
Compares inventories to SAP inventory system and reconcile accordingly
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years customer service experience
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing with peers and management
Self motivator; able to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Outlook, and SAP
Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
High school education or equivalent a plus.
Able to handle SKY lift and pallet jack
At least one year in a stockroom environment.
Demonstrate ability to assume responsibility.
Count accuracy
Ability to work under pressure while multi tasking
