An internship position at EFI allows college students to obtain real-world industry experience by applying skills and knowledge learned through college coursework. The position will also expose the candidate to the business side of engineering and prepare the candidate for employment after graduation. Candidate will assist the design development teams within multiple fast-paced projects in the grand format printing industry. Candidate will learn how to interpret and develop engineering drawings in addition to reviewing and commenting on manufacturer's drawings and documents. He or she will assist in the coordination between engineering disciplines, participate in project planning activities, and support cost and schedule updates
This is an internship position charged with the development and support of the mechanical and electro-mechanical portions of grand format digital printers. Candidates must be currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited university within a Mechanical Engineering curriculum. The candidate should have completed courses such as statics and mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer. Candidate must be able to understand and follow verbal directions, follow established and written procedures, and effectively communicate information both verbally and written. Candidate must have excellent computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work productively with minimal supervision in a team environment. Candidate must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks while managing and prioritizing his or her workload.
Additional requirements:
Familiarity in the use of mechanical design software (Solidworks) for conceptual design development and 3 dimensional detail design modeling.
Experience with Cosmos a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
